Join us and discover the wonderful Lecture Series we have for this next year!
Founded in 1977 by Pikes Peak residents and CU alumni, Curiosity Unlimited strengthens connections between the community and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). For nearly 50 years, we have inspired lifelong learning by offering opportunities to engage with UCCS faculty, explore timely topics through free public lectures, and foster intellectual curiosity.
More than 200 UCCS professors have presented free lectures through Curiosity Unlimited, providing the community with direct access to university expertise and meaningful educational experiences.
Curiosity Unlimited invests in future leaders through annual scholarships funded by membership dues and designated gifts. During the 2025–2026 academic year, seven UCCS students entering their senior year received scholarships, bringing our total scholarship support to more than $130,000.
One scholarship honors Thomas Napierkowski, PhD, who served as Curiosity Unlimited's Faculty Advisor for 45 years. His dedication helped shape the organization and its lasting impact on lifelong learning.
“My name is Amanda Ford, and I am a incoming senior at UCCS, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Political Science. The Curiosity Unlimited Scholarship has drastically impacted my time at UCCS. Receiving this scholarship support has allowed me to balance my preexisting duties while also growing and challenging myself with new and enriching opportunities and goals. I am so lucky to be able to grow, develop professionally, and pursue opportunities I may have usually had forgo without this financial support.”
